didn't win the lottery again.
maybe it's got something to do with not collecting the winnings from my hongkong lottery win.
it's hk$20 or something but still, i might have upset the cosmic revolutions of lady luck's bigmoneybigmoney! spinning wheel.

i have yet to claim my 15mins of spotlight for any sort of achievement but i appeared in the national paper, albeit in the CAREER supplement, without much aplomb. it was nothing like the a-phone-call-a-minute, 50-new-messages-in-my-inbox kind of reaction that i had imagined. instead, only my dad scanned the article itself (without any date or paper name header!) and emailed it to me, with a sad little beep on my mobile with a text from my ma telling me so!

the english colleagues who read it found it funny and couldn't make sense of some the quotes. some even found my opinion as quoted, strange!

so that's that. about sums up my life at this point.

no money, no fame.

time to get back to the drawing board i suppose.
